Acquisition Program Analyst.(Secret)- SAF/AQI

This contract supports the SAF/AQ organization, other PEOs as directed, and other Headquarters Air Force organizations where it is in the interest of the SAF/AQ to have an acquisition support presence within that organization. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. The contractor shall support the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment efforts as necessary to support the respective Government organizations.

SAF/AQI – Information Dominance Programs Directorate

Directs, plans, and programs for development, procurement, and product support of information dominance programs. Serves as the focal point within the HAF for information dominance matters associated with integrated product life cycle management and facilitates information dominance stakeholder collaboration in addressing lifecycle issues. The portfolio includes current and future: air and ground based

command and control (C2), including nuclear C2; Defense Business Systems, Enterprise Information Technology; Cyberspace Weapon Systems; manned and unmanned intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); counter-C2 electronic warfare, air traffic control and landing systems; and networks and datalinks systems from concept and technology development through production, deployment, and sustainment.

The tasks for this position include:

  1. Supporting Headquarters Air Force (HAF) budget preparation and defense, SAE oversight and decision-making activities, PEO program execution and oversight efforts of aircraft platforms, and may be required to independently:
  • Maintaining and analyzing planning, scheduling, and management data.
  • Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, and program execution.
  • Providing honest broker assessments of programs approaching milestone decisions and of prime contractor technical and operational issues.
  • Researching and analyzing program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions.

Directs, plans, and programs for development, procurement, and product support of $10B portfolio of global power programs. The portfolio includes legacy fighters such as the F-15, F-16 and A-10 as well as fifth-generation aircraft like the F-22 and F-35. It encompasses the entirety of the AF munitions procurements to include weapons currently used in OIR operations such as Joint Directed Attack Munition, Small Diameter Bomb, and Hellfire missiles. Finally, the Global Power portfolio captures the AF investments in nuclear triad to include the legacy and modernized ICBM and Cruise Missile programs.

Engineer (Secret)- SAF/AQR

SAF/AQR – Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Science, Technology and Engineering

Serves as the Air Force S&T Executive, Air Force Acquisition Chief Engineer and Technical Authority, the Air Force Corrosion Control and Prevention Executive, Air Force Standardization Executive, and functional manager for the scientist and engineer (S&E) career field. Develops and implements plans, policies, and procedures for Air Force S&T, laboratory management, technology transition (to include Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations), Technology Cooperation Program, technology transfer, development planning (DP), and experimentation. Establishes engineering policy and guidance for Air Force systems, subsystems, and end-items. Leads the Systems Security Engineering activities that include the identification and protection of critical program information (CPI) and functions, elimination or mitigation of cyber vulnerabilities, and program protection planning. Establishes policy and guidance for the development, implementation, and operation of the Air Force airworthiness assurance system. Advocates for S&T, DP, prototyping and experimentation, technology transition, technology transfer, and S&T intelligence; defends these areas in the corporate Air Force PPBE process; and serves as the primary interface with Congress, OSD, and other government agencies for these non-SAP investments. Provides oversight of the scientific and technical information program, to include distribution controls. Finance Manager (Secret)- SAF/AQXS

This contract supports the SAF/AQ organization, other PEOs as directed, and other Headquarters Air Force organizations where it is in the interest of the SAF/AQ to have an acquisition support presence within that organization. The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence. SAF/AQXS – Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition Integration (Acquisition Capability Division)

Develops and implements tools, training, and policy related to Air Force acquisition management, reporting, structure, and execution. Serves as the acquisition domain functional chief information officer developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture, data strategy, and business information technology plans. Manages SAF/AQ portfolio of business systems that support acquisition within the Air Force. Establishes integrated life cycle acquisition policy and guidance for Air Force systems, subsystems, end-items, and services. Monitors and assess changes to the acquisition process and structure resulting from legislation, regulation, or initiatives and integrates into AF acquisition policy. Support audit readiness and self- inspection by providing process, tools, and policy that ensure a single coherent, integrated, and synchronized implementation of acquisition requirements.

The tasks for this position include:

  • Providing functional support for the acquisition functional area in the discipline of Business Financial Management.
  • Providing IT Budget submission for SAF/AQ IT portfolio.
  • Supporting submission for the annual budget cycle (POM & PB) and assuring submissions track to program budgets in ABIDES.
  • Providing Financial management support for SAF/AQ funded IT systems.
  • Providing support to the PEM for POM submissions to Corporate Process, Staffer Day preparation, and Budget Documents (i.e. R-Docs) preparation.
  • Performing future forecasting for individual programs by appropriation across the FYDP.

- Senior SharePoint Administrator (10 years minimum experience)

Job Description

Provide third-level technical support for Microsoft SharePoint as they relate to Social Security Administration SharePoint users. This includes support for the setup and creation of SharePoint sites and support for the user community in developing such. Troubleshooting of SharePoint problems and user community questions will also be required. Experience with SharePoint Online in O365 is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing SharePoint administration services, including SharePoint Site Administration.
  • Provide third-level technical support for the setup and creation of SharePoint sites and support the SSA community in developing such.
  • Provide troubleshooting of SharePoint problems and user community questions as necessary.
  • Provide third-level support to problem records opened by end-users and representatives.
  • Create executive level reports on the infrastructure and support tickets.
  • Make recommendations for modifications, as applicable.
  • Assist and train personnel in SharePoint Services and how it relates to SESS. Training is meant to be of the casual, on-the-job variety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems using research tools such as Microsoft TechNet, Search Engines, Microsoft Online, and Resource Kits.
  • Communicate and attend meetings with OHE team members and other SSA divisions if necessary.
  • Document problems and issues.
  • Document solutions for preventive maintenance. Submit to the Task Manager.
  • Document problems using CAPRS. Extraordinary problems will be reported to the Task Manager upon recognition.
  • Configure, implement, and support hardware relating to virtualization, including networking and SAN devices.
  • Coordinate with other support entities to coordinate resolution on large scale issues with the customer’s infrastructure
  • The employee shall provide the Task Manager with a Preventive Maintenance Report via email. This document should detail solutions for preventive maintenance. The due date will range from 1 day to 1 month.
  • Collaborate with other SharePoint Developers on Team Foundation Server using GIT to create SharePoint Apps/Addins using C#, JavaScript, and supporting code for deployment etc. using PowerShell.

Security Infrastructure Manager for Office 365 (Min 10 Years Experience)

Engineer will ensure availability and stability of the systems, processes, programs and equipment used to process SAB workloads. He/She will also develop viable processing techniques to solve technical problems and document techniques in a manner that leads to easy implementation and standardization. This task is for the purpose of developing, maintaining and supporting cloud infrastructure security. This task requires developing, implementing and maintaining a web proxy bypass list for Office O365 and all future process that will use Microsoft’s Cloud Offering, Dynamic 365. In support of the task, the engineer shall perform activities such as those described in the sub-tasks below.

Responsibilities

  • Manage access to the agency’s secure connection to Dynamic365 (called Express Route).
  • Develop and manage a Web Proxy By-pass File for Express Route that Social Security Administration’s (SSA) networking component will utilize.
  • Gather functional requirements from a variety of Social Security Administration stakeholders in the creation of this file. SSA’s task manager will identify the SSA stakeholders. This gathering can be done utilizing SSA’s email system, SharePoint or by telephone.
  • Work with SSA’s networking component to integrate the file into the existing SSA load balancers.
  • Ensure the Proxy By-pass File is up to date and current.
  • Create a workflow input process that will document the link between the contents of the Proxy Bi-Pass File to a business process owner
  • Create a Proxy By-Pass File input process using SharePoint. That will allow business owners to provide updates, as they are created/identified.
  • Administer SSA’s McAfee Web Gateway
  • Pull reports from the Proxy By-pass File process that connects input requests to the contents of the file.
  • Work in partnership with other SSA components to troubleshoot and correct issues associated with Express Route Access as needed.

Deliverables

  • Take corrective action as needed.
  • The Proxy By-Pass File input process must be up and running within 45 days of the start of the task.
  • Manage and maintain web gateway rules and exception requests on daily basis.
  • Implement system updates when released and provided by vendor as they are produced.
  • Proxy By-Pass file within 60 days from start of effort.
  • Documentation of the input process from SSA stakeholders within 45 days of start of effort.
  • Documentation of requirements from SSA stakeholders within 45 days of start of effort
  • Document the administrative tasks associated with the file, such as how to edit, maintain and manage the file within 45 days of start of task.
  • Ensure the Proxy By-pass File includes the most recent updates, within 60 days of start of effort and daily thereafter for the duration of the effort.

- SharePoint Architect (Min 10 years) 

Job Description: 
A SharePoint Architect needs to have a thorough understanding of SharePoint (admin, developing, functions) including when and how new components/web parts should be developed. Also Microsoft Technologies in general, especially .NET 3.5, C#, Exchange, Active Directory, Office 2007/2010, IIS and infrastructure in general. Pivotal specialized role is of SharePoint architect. This is the person who can:

  •  Collect, transform, validate and map functional and non-functional requirements

  •  Plan and architect infrastructure integration

  •  Define solution

  •  Map MOST of solution requirements to existing configurable features of SharePoint

  •  Architect and POC custom code as needed

The Architect also needs to set up the projects environments. In some cases this can be a full blown Development, Staging and Production environment. If that is the case it's very important to have all the environments match as close as possible if not be exact. The Architect also needs to understand fail over's, clustering and load balancing, for large farms. A SharePoint Architect also needs a solid understanding of alternate access mapping in MOSS, host headers, DNS entries, Kerberos configuration and multiple forms of authentication (forms auth, ntml etc).
